Our Seaton Wetlands trip is coming up this WEDNESDAY 16th May. Don’t forget to ask your family and friends for sponsorship for the sponsored frog hop! The postcode for Seaton Wetlands is EX12 2SP – the car park is through the cemetery and the plan is to meet there at 10am. Don’t forget to bring a packed lunch and some wellies for the children as the ground is still a bit boggy in places.
For a fantastic family friendly event come along to Stockland Fair on Bank Holiday Monday (28th May 2018). The fair starts at 1.30pm and is held in Stockland Village hall and surrounding field, EX14 9EF.
See poster for more details.
In the light of recent weather forecasts the decision has been taken to close pre-school TOMORROW (Thursday 1st March). Our sincere apologies for the short notice but we think it is the best course of action and would hate for anyone to attempt the journey in dangerous conditions.
We will update you as soon as possible regarding Friday although if conditions remain bad, pre-school will obviously remain closed.
Take care – especially if you have to drive tomorrow and we’ll see you soon hopefully.
Please keep an eye out for a new comments book which will be on display at pre-school from today (Monday 15th Jan). This is a book in which we would like you to write any comments, suggestions or ideas for pre-school.
Positive or negative all your comments will be very welcome as it gives us a chance to address any issues and to make improvements. You will also find the operational plan on the same table which details our working policies and procedures – please feel free to have a look.
Our new baby and toddler group is now open every Friday from 9.30 – 11.30am at Stockland village hall.
It’s a great chance to let your little one have a play in a friendly, safe environment while you get to meet some new people and have a cup of tea . We’d love to see you there.
£2 for over 1’s to include a snack for the children and tea/coffee for adults. Under 1’s play for free.
We will be taking the children on a magical trip to see Santa at his magical kingdom at Otter Nurseries on Wednesday 6th December.
All children welcome although if we would appreciate it if 2 year old’s can be accompanied.
Don’t forget to buy your Christmas raffle tickets to be in with a chance of winning one of our fabulous hampers, tickets to Escot, Kents Cavern, Freshwater leisure pool and a host of other prizes.
Tickets are £1 each and are available from pre-school.
The draw will take place at our Christmas concert on Wednesday 13th December.
The last cross country of the season for Stockland Primary. The school finishes early at 3pm so we strongly suggest you collect your children early from pre-school (around 2.50/3pm) as the car park and surrounding roads will start to get congested shortly after this time.
Please drop children off at Trimshayes farm at 9am for a visit with the new born lambs. Children will walk back to pre-school for lunch.
Come and join Stockland pre-school for some Easter themed fun and activities at Stockland spring market (at Stockland village hall). There will also be lots of interesting stalls featuring local crafts and produce for you to browse. Hope to see you there.
